Books Books Books Event is in its 4th year!!

What is Books Books Books Event?  It's an author- signing event that is open to all genres.  We love it all!  

So how was Books Books Books Event born?

Author Mary Walsh and book blogger Amy Garnet worked together. Mary left, then Amy left only to meet up again in Harrisburg, PA. They realized it was getting harder and harder to find author signing events in Central PA. 

An idea blossomed and this amazing author signing event was born!!

In 2020, the first Books Books Books Event was set and ready to go, but then we all know what happened. 2021 was the first year for the event and it's been growing and growing ever since!   

Mary Walsh is an award-winning multi-genre author of 15 books. Her genres include urban fantasy, romance, cozy ghost stories, historical fiction, and nonfiction. Her latest urban fantasy adventure, The Curse of Jean Lafitte, stars Jean Lafitte the Pirate in present-day New Orleans searching for his cursed treasure. 

After growing up outside of Pittsburgh, Mary now lives in Mechanicsburg, PA, with her husband Dave and their four kids. She is also a freelance editor and public speaker. She spends a lot of her days fighting her dog Scarlett for foot space under her desk. Mary is one of the co-founders of Books Books Books, an annual book fest that brings in over 125 authors. Hi!  My name is Amy Garnet.  I run the blog, 6 Feet Under Books.  I love to read!  LOVE TO READ!!  I always have a book in my hands or nearby.  

How did my love of books start?  My grandma is a big reader.  I spent summers with her at Mt. Gretna Lake jumping into the freezing cold water and then warming up under the sun with a book. The rest is history!  

I'm a native to Central Pennsylvania.  If I'm NOT reading—which is rare—I'm at a hockey game.  Go Bears & Flyers!!  Or antiquing, looking for Pyrex dishes in the Snowflake pattern.  

My favorite genres are Apocalyptic/Dystopian & Dark Romance.  Do you sense a theme?  I like it dark, like my coffee, eye liner & soul.
